About the service

SweVPN provides VPN access using the standard WireGuard protocol.

Access is provided through a digitally signed receipt, valid for the period shown on the receipt. No user account or recurring subscription is required.

You configure your own WireGuard client using the receipt.

SweVPN currently supports IPv4 only. IPv6 traffic is not supported.

DNS requests using TCP or UDP port 53 are redirected to our DNS resolver to reduce DNS leaks.

Certain IP addresses and networks are blocked to protect the service. See our public blocklist.

Privacy

SweVPN is designed to collect and retain as little information as possible.

• No user accounts are required.
• We do not log browsing activity, traffic contents, DNS queries, or VPN connection history.
• We do not maintain a central database of users or access receipts. Or any other user related data.
• We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.

To provide access, VPN exit relays temporarily hold the WireGuard public key, receipt identifier hash, and access expiry information in memory. Entry forwarding relays do not maintain anything except temprorat routing information and tables in ram to be able to mascurade trafick.

Payment providers process information necessary for payments under their own terms and privacy policies.

Payments and receipts

Payments are handled by an external payment provider. We do not receive or store payment card details, or any payment information except "payment succeded or not"

After payment, you receive a signed access receipt. You are responsible for keeping it safe. Anyone who obtains your receipt may be able to use it to configure VPN access, and distrurbe your access.

Receipts expire on the date indicated and are not automatically renewed. Reconfiguring a device will replace a previously active WireGuard key for the same receipt and device. I.e. only one configuration per device id possible.

Refunds

If you experience a technical problem, please contact us.

Refund requests are handled in accordance with applicable consumer law. Any statutory right of withdrawal or refund remains unaffected by these terms.

Refund without a valid receipt not possible.

Acceptable use and limitations

You are responsible for complying with applicable laws when using SweVPN.

We may restrict abusive traffic or suspend access where necessary to protect the service and others.

Availability, speed, and access to particular websites or services are not guaranteed. Relays may be restarted, changed, or removed. After a server restart, you will need to configure your WireGuard client again.

The service is provided without additional warranties to the extent permitted by applicable law. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
